Door Outside Handle Bracket Replacement Driver Side

1. Remove the outside door handle assembly. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .



2. Using a small flat-bladed tool, gently remove the clip lock shield (1) away from the outside handle bracket assembly (4) and remove the door lock barrel shield (2), if necessary.
3. Using a small flat-bladed tool, gently remove the door lock micro switch clip (3) away from the outside handle bracket assembly (4), if necessary.



4. Slide the micro switch wiring harness connector (1) off the connector retaining bracket (3) and feed the wiring harness out from under the bracket assembly retainer (2), if necessary.



5. Using a small flat-bladed tool, push the two micro switch contacts in and remove the micro switch assembly, if necessary.
6. Remove the door lock cylinder, if necessary. Refer to Door Lock Cylinder Replacement .

1. Install the door lock cylinder, if removed. Refer to Door Lock Cylinder Replacement .



2. Install the micro switch assembly to the outside handle bracket, if removed.



3. Install the micro switch harness to the bracket assembly retainer (2) and slide the micro switch wiring harness connector (1) on the retaining bracket (3), if removed.



4. Install the door lock micro switch clip (3) to the outside handle bracket (4), if removed.
5. Install the door lock barrel shield (2) to the outside handle bracket (4) and secure it with the clip lock shield (1), if removed.
6. Install the door outside handle assembly. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
