Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the folding top from the vehicle. Refer to Folding Top Replacement .
2. Remove the front and rear headliners. Refer to Roof Retractable Front Headlining Trim Panel Replacement and Roof Retractable Rear Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Detach the folding top rear latch. Refer to Folding Top Rear Latch Replacement - Panel to Panel .
4. Detach the folding top stowage compartment closeout panel. Refer to Folding Top Stowage Compartment Front Closeout Panel Replacement .
5. Detach the RR stowage compartment closeout panel actuator cable. Refer to Roof Retractable Stowage Compartment Closeout Panel Actuator Cable Replacement .
6. Remove the folding top side rail link cylinder main rail. Refer to Folding Top Side Rail Link Cylinder Replacement - Main Rail .
7. Detach the wiring harness and hydraulic hose connectors/tie straps, as necessary.
