Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 166411  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Lower the rear door window as low as possible into the door opening.
  6. Remove the rear door window to rear door window regulator bolts (1, 2).

  8. Slide the rear window glass down to the bottom of the rear door while keeping it in the front weatherstrip channel.
  9. Partially remove the rear door window weatherstrip from the channel between the rear door window and the rear door stationary window and part way across the top of the rear door window.
  10. Remove the stationary window to rear door screws.

  12. Remove the rear door stationary window to rear door bolt.
  13. Rotate and remove the rear door stationary window from the rear door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 164743  Size: SH
  1. Align the rear door stationary window to the rear door.
  2. Make sure that the rear door window is in the channel of the rear door stationary window.

  3. Object Number: 164744  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the rear door stationary window to rear door bolt.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the rear door stationary window to rear door screws.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Slide the rear door window up from the bottom of the door keeping it in the channels.
  9. Install the rear door window to rear door window regulator bolts (1, 2).
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  11. Check the rear door window movement for proper operation.
  12. Install the rear door window weatherstrip.

  14. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  15. Install the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  16. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  17. Install rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  18. Raise the rear door window to the full closed position.
