Tools Required

1. Remove the transaxle case side cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .
2. Remove the snap ring from the output axle shaft and discard.



3. Remove the output axle shaft sleeve from the output shaft using SA9211T .

1. Use J 41228 to install new sleeve on output axle shaft. Ensure that collet is located in snap ring groove when installing.



2. Install a new snap ring on output axle shaft.
3. Install the transaxle case side cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .
4. Start engine, warm up transaxle, and check for leaks.
5. Inspect the fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check Procedure.
