The radio supplies 4 audio signals to 4 individual speakers or an amplifier if equipped.
The radio is ON.
The radio sets a current status for this DTC when a short to ground, short to voltage or an open is detected on any of the 4 speaker output signal circuits between the radio and speakers or radio and amplifier (if equipped).
No sound is present from one or more of the speakers.
The fault condition is no longer present.

Radio/Audio System Description and Operation
All speakers should function properly and the DTC does not reset.
Important: Verify the DTC is current before performing this diagnostic
⇒ | If less than 5 volts, test the suspect (+) audio output signal circuit for short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuits test normal replace the radio. |
⇒ | If greater than 6 volts, test the suspect (+) audio output signal circuit for short to voltage. If the circuits test normal replace the radio. |
