Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 863970 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rocker panel molding. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement .
  2. Use a 7.5 mm (9/64 in) drill bit to drill out the rivets. Remove the support.
  3. Using a telescoping magnet with a swivel head, remove the remaining rivets from inside the rocker cavity.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 900001 Size: SH
  1. Install the locating rivet (1) to ensure proper fore/aft location.
  2. Install the remaining rivets.
  3. Install the rocker panel molding. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement .
