Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1998408 Size: LH
  1. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1998408 Size: LH
  2. Remove the lock knob control rod (3).

    3. Release from the retainer (4).

  3. Remove the locking knob (1).

    4. Release the retaining clip (2) with a suitable tool.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the locking knob.

    2. Place the retaining clip into position.

  2. Install the lock knob control rod.

    3. Install in retainer.

  3. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
