Faulty coolant hoses

Replace the hoses as needed. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement or Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement .

Loose coolant hose clamps

Tighten the clamps. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Loose coolant drain plugs

Tighten the coolant drain plugs. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

Leaking radiator core

Repair the radiator core as necessary. Refer to Radiator Cleaning .

Leaking gaskets

Replace the gaskets as necessary.

Faulty radiator cap

Replace the radiator cap.

Missing radiator shroud or baffles

Install the correct radiator shroud or baffles. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

Water pump leaks

Replace the water pump. Refer to Water Pump Replacement .

Faulty surge tank

Repair or replace the surge tank. Refer to Surge Tank (Diesel) Replacement .

Heater hoses leak

Repair or replace the heater hoses.

Heater core leaks

Repair or replace the heater core as necessary.

Leaking head gasket

Replace the head gasket as necessary. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

Loose radiator drain cock

Tighten the radiator drain cock as necessary. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
