Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2000 🢒 Cavalier 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Body Rear End 🢒 Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment

You may adjust the rear compartment lid using one of the following methods.

Procedure A
  1. Loosen the compartment lid hinge bolts. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  2. Adjust the compartment lid clearance.
  3. Tighten the compartment lid hinge bolts. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .

Procedure B
  1. Remove the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Loosen the compartment lid hinge bolts at the rear window panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  3. Adjust the compartment lid clearance.
  4. Tighten the compartment lid hinge bolts at the rear window panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  5. Install the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement .
