Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the headrest. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  2. Remove the knob from the release lever on the seat back lock on Coupe and Convertible models.

    3. Object Number: 279079 Size: MH
  3. Disconnect the closeout strip (1).

    4. Object Number: 279083 Size: SH
  4. Remove the seat back pad (2) and cover  (1).

Installation Procedure

    Important: Care must be used on seats with maps pockets when installing, so that the card board backing from the seat cover is not distorted or it may result in an improper appearance.

  1. Install the seat back pad (2) and cover  (1).

    2. Object Number: 279079 Size: MH
  2. Reconnect the closeout strip (1).
  3. Install the knob for the release lever on the seat back lock.
  4. Install the headrest. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  5. Reconnect the back to the cushion.
