Rear Energy Absorber Replacement Z24 and Pontiac Sedan

1. Remove the fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .



2. Remove the push-pin retainers (3).
3. Remove the energy absorber (2) from the impact bar (1).

1. Position the energy absorber (2) to the impact bar (1).
2. Install the push-pin retainers (3).
3. Install the fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .

Rear Energy Absorber Replacement Chevrolet and Pontiac Coupe

1. Remove the fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .



2. Remove the rivets (3).
3. Remove the energy absorber (2) from the impact bar (1).

1. Position the energy absorber (2) to the impact bar (1).
2. Install the rivets (3).
3. Install the fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
