Your selling retailer has made a large investment to ensure that they have the proper tools, training, and parts inventory to make any necessary warranty repairs should they be required during the warranty period. We ask that you return to your selling retailer for warranty repairs. In the event of an emergency repair, you may take your vehicle to any authorized Saturn retailer for warranty repairs. However, certain warranty repairs require special tools or training that only a retailer selling your brand may have. Therefore, not all retailers are able to perform every repair. If a particular retailer cannot assist you, then contact the Customer Assistance Center. If you have changed your residence, visit any Saturn retailer in the United States or Canada for warranty service.
We are committed to assuring your satisfaction with your new Saturn.
Your Saturn retailer also wants you to be completely satisfied and invites you to return for all your service needs, both during and after the warranty period.
You should be aware that not all Saturn retailers are equipped to service all Saturn vehicles. If you are traveling or unable to return to your selling General Motors dealer for any reason, call 1-800-263-1999 for the name and location of the nearest Saturn service location.
Considering the investment you have made in your new Saturn, we know you will want to operate and maintain it properly. We urge you, therefore, to follow the maintenance instructions contained in your Owner's Manual.
If you have any questions on how to keep your vehicle in good working condition, see your Saturn retailer, the place many Saturn customers choose to have their maintenance work done. You can rely on your retailer to use proper parts and repair practices.
General Motors of Canada Limited recommends that your retain receipts covering performance of regular vehicle maintenance. Repairs required due to damage resulting from lack of maintenance are not covered under your warranty. Receipts can be very important if a question arises as to whether a malfunction is caused by lack of maintenance or a defect in material or workmanship.
We suggest you keep these receipts in the glove box literature portfolio. Also, a "Maintenance Record" form is provided in the Owner's Manual (Maintenance Schedule Section) for your convenience in recording services performed.
Should you ever encounter a problem during or after the warranty periods that is not resolved, talk to a member of your retailer's management team. If the problem persists, follow the procedures outlined in Owner Assistance .

Many owners seek to enhance their vehicle ownership after the expiration of the standard Limited warranty by purchasing an optional service contract. General Motors offers its own Saturn Service Plan (SSP), a service contract which provides mechanical repair protection, a rental/alternate transportation allowance, and the availability of Roadside Assistance or a towing and road service allowance. The Saturn Service Plan is available in different levels of coverage, each offering a variety of time/kilometre options to suit your driving needs.
The Saturn Service Plan is the only optional service contract backed by the worldwide resources of General Motors. It can be the most valuable option you choose for your vehicle. See your Saturn retailer for prices, vehicle eligibility guidelines and more details!
Saturn encourages all owners to report, at their earliest convenience, a change in name or address by calling our Saturn Customer Communication Centre toll free at 1-800-263-1999.
