Heater Outlet Hose Replacement L61

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 931798 Size: SH
  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the heater core.
  3. Remove the heater outlet hose from the heater core.

    4. Object Number: 931420 Size: SH
  4. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the engine.
  5. Remove the heater outlet hose from the engine.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 931420 Size: SH
  1. Install the heater outlet hose to the engine port.
  2. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the engine port.

    3. Object Number: 931798 Size: SH
  3. Install the heater outlet hose to the heater core.
  4. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the heater core.
  5. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.

Heater Outlet Hose Replacement L66 at Heater Core

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1252528 Size: SH
  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L (L66).
  3. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the heater core.
  4. Remove the heater outlet hose from the heater core.

    5. Object Number: 1252540 Size: SH
  5. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the "T" fitting.
  6. Remove the heater outlet hose from the "T" fitting.

    7. Object Number: 931349 Size: SH
  7. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the surge tank.
  8. Remove the heater outlet hose from the surge tank.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 931349 Size: SH
  1. Install the heater outlet hose to the surge tank.
  2. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the surge tank.

    3. Object Number: 1252540 Size: SH
  3. Install the heater outlet hose to the "T" fitting.
  4. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the "T" fitting.

    5. Object Number: 1252528 Size: SH
  5. Install the heater outlet hose to the heater core.
  6. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the heater core.
  7. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L (L66).
  8. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.

Heater Outlet Hose Replacement L66 at Engine

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1252540 Size: SH
  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L (L66).
  3. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the "T" fitting.
  4. Remove the heater outlet hose from the "T" fitting.

    5. Object Number: 1252533 Size: SH
  5. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the engine.
  6. Remove the heater outlet hose from the engine.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1252533 Size: SH
  1. Install the heater outlet hose to the engine.
  2. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the engine.

    3. Object Number: 1252540 Size: SH
  3. Install the heater outlet hose to the "T" fitting.
  4. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the "T" fitting.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L (L66).
  6. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
