Ashtrays

Here's how to remove them:

Front Removal: Grasp the ashtray firmly, and then lift straight up.

Front Installation: Hold the ashtray and press down firmly until the ashtray is fully seated.

Rear Removal: Open the ashtray by rotating it clockwise a half-turn. Depress the snuffer to release the ashtray. Keeping the snuffer depress, pull the ashtray toward the rear seat until it is removed from the housing.

Rear Installation: With the cover open, depress the snuffer, tilt the ashtray slightly downward and insert it into the opening. Push forward until it locks into place. To close the ashtray, rotate it half a turn.

Notice: If papers, pins, or other flammable items are put in the ashtray, hot cigarettes or other smoking materials could ignite them and possibly damage the vehicle. Never put flammable items in the ashtray.

Cigarette Lighter

The cigarette lighter is located near the ashtray. To use the lighter, just push it all the way in. When it's ready, it will pop back by itself.

Notice: Holding a cigarette lighter in while it is heating does not let the lighter back away from the heating element when it is hot. Damage from overheating can occur to the lighter or heating element, or a fuse could be blown. Do not hold a cigarette lighter in while it is heating.
