Field Information Bulletin

April 1996

Attached to this bulletin are state specific letters provided to Retailers who are doing business in a state requiring Lemon Law point-of-sale materials. IF you are located within a "Lemon Law" state (indicated below), please refer to the appropriate attached letter for information relating to your state's specific Lemon Laws.

The attached letters detail both Saturn Corporation and the Saturn Retailer's responsibilities to notify the purchaser of their rights under the "Lemon Law" of the state in which the vehicle was purchased. The letters also instruct Retailers on how to implement procedures to ensure that their state's requirements are met.

For each Lemon Law state requiring point-of-sale notification (indicated below), we have included with this bulletin point-of-sale materials and a reorder form for additional point-of-sale materials.

As new facilities open in states requiring point-of-sale notification, those facilities will receive Retailer letters, point-of-sale materials and reorder forms.
