This lights will come on while you are starting your engine. If the light doesn't come on, then have the electrical system checked. If the light flashes on and off, your coolant level is low and you should add coolant. See Engine Coolant .

If this light comes on and stays on, you could have one or both of the following two conditions.

    • Overheated engine coolant
    • Overheated automatic transaxle fluid

If either of these overheat conditions occur, you should stop your vehicle and turn the engine off as soon as possible. Call your Saturn retailer for assistance.
