As approved at the February 29, 1996, Franchise Operations Team (FOT) meeting, a used car tool kit SA1996UC is required for participating used car Retailers. The used car tool kit includes the following tools.

SA9609UC Tire Pressure Gauge Tire inflation pressure, including spare tire

SA961OUC 150 mm Steel Rule (2 per kit) Brake system, mount & body measurements

SA9611UC Tire Tread Depth Gauge Tire material depth measurement

SA9612UC Brake Drum Micrometer Digital brake drum diameter measurement

SA9613UC 0-25 mm Micrometer Digital brake drum thickness measurement

The generic nature of the used car tool kit also makes it very adaptable for inspection of non-Saturn used cars. This required tool kit will be provided by OTC, with the projected shipment date being May 28, 1996. The cost of the used car tool kit is $355.99 and will be billed to the Retailers open account.
