CENTER ARM REST VERBIAGE IN 1996 OWNER'S HANDBOOK

SUBJECT: Center Arm Rest Verbiage in 1996 Owner's Handbook

TO: Saturn General Managers

The 1996 1st Edition Owner's Handbook states on page 125 that the "Center Arm Rest" is an optional feature on certain models and is standard on the SL2, SW2, and SC2 models. The 1996 initial plan was to have the center arm rest standard on certain models, therefore the information contained in the Owner's Handbook was printed with the information stated above. A business decision has subsequently changed this feature to a Retailer Installed Accessory item. The "Center Arm Rest" information will reflect this change in the 2nd edition book which will be printed and distributed in vehicles beginning in December, 1995.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Saturn Technical Publications

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
