Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
2. Remove the 2 lower back up lamp screws from the rear bumper valance center panel.

Back Up Lamp Assembly Screw (Qty: 4)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Back Up Lamp Assembly

Tip
Replace the lamp bulb, if needed.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove either the right rear or left rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .

Main Body Harness Electrical Connector

Tip
Squeeze and turn the socket counterclockwise to remove.

Backup and Rear Fog Lamp Assembly Nut (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

Backup and Rear Fog Lamp Assembly

Tip
Remove the lamp from the exterior side of the rear bumper fascia.
