Rear Side Door Molding Replacement Acadia

Rear Side Door Center Molding Assembly

Notice: Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

  1. Use a J 25070 Heat Gun in a circular motion in order to warm and help to remove the rear side door molding.
  2. Peel the adhesive tape liner from the molding.
  3. Align the 3 plastic clips to the holes in the door.
  4. Align the B pillar clip first followed by the other two clips.
  5. Secure the clips using the mandatory sequence as noted.
  6. Push up slightly on the molding when aligning the other 2 holes.
  7. Using a clean towel and hand pressure, wet out the entire length of the molding starting at the front edge of the rear door and working rearward.

  4. Align the B pillar clip first followed by the other 2 clips.
  5. Secure the clips using the mandatory sequence as noted.
  6. Push up slightly on the molding when aligning the other 2 holes.
  7. Using a clean towel and hand pressure, wet out the entire length of the molding starting at the front edge of the rear door and working rearward.
