Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2003 🢒 L300/LW300 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Automatic 🢒 Blower Motor Control Processor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    3. Object Number: 896489 Size: SH
  3. Remove the heater outlet retainer.
  4. Remove the heater outlet.

    5. Object Number: 894265 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the recirculation actuator electrical connector.
  6. Disconnect the aspirator hose and position the hose aside.

    7. Object Number: 1242398 Size: SH
  7. Remove the blower motor resistor screws.
  8. Use the electrical harness to pull the blower motor control module out of the HVAC module.
  9. Disconnect the blower motor control module electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1242398 Size: SH
  1. Connect the blower motor control module electrical connector.
  2. Install the blower motor control module to the HVAC module.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the blower motor control module screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.0 N·m (9 lb in).

  4. Connect the aspirator hose.

  5. Connect the recirculation actuator electrical connector.

    6. Object Number: 896489 Size: SH
  6. Install the heater outlet.
  7. Install the heater outlet retainer.
  8. Install the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
