Removal Procedure
- Open the hood.
- Gently remove the hood-to-cowl seal by peeling it up from one end.
- Use a flat-blade screwdriver to open the filter access door in the cowl screen.
- Rotate the locking tabs outward to release the filter assembly.
- Remove the filter by pulling straight out.
Important: Remove any debris in the filter area.
Installation Procedure
- Install a new filter.
- Rotate the locking tabs inward to secure the air filter in place.
- Install the hood-to-cowl seal.
- Close the cowl screen access door and snap the door closed.
Important: Install the filter noting the air flow direction indicator.
