Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement L81

1. Remove the reservoir cap.



2. Disconnect the power steering pump feed line and steering gear return line from the reservoir. Allow the system to drain into an approved container.



3. Remove the power steering reservoir to radiator support bolts.
4. Remove the reservoir from the vehicle.

1. Position the reservoir to the radiator support.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the reservoir to radiator support bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).




3. Install the Power steering pump feed line and steering gear return line to the reservoir.

Tighten
Tighten the clamp to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

4. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
