Removal Procedure
- Remove the engine
cooling fan attachment bolts.
Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned.
To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support
for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.
- Raise the vehicle.
- Position the engine cooling fan to allow access to the transaxle mount
bolts.
- Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt.
- Remove the transaxle
mount-to-transaxle attachment bolts.
- Remove the transaxle mount from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the transaxle mount into the vehicle and tighten the bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the transaxle mounts (front and rear)-to-transaxle
bolts to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).
- Install the transaxle mount through bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the transaxle mount (rear) through bolt
to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
- Reposition the cooling fan for installation.
- Lower the vehicle from the hoist.
- Install the engine
cooling fan attachment bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the engine cooling fan attachment bolts
to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
