Removal Procedure
- Remove the disc brake caliper bolts (2).

.
- Lightly wire brush all brake pad contact areas in order to remove any
corrosion.
• | Looseness in the caliper mounting |
• | Bent or damaged caliper pins |
• | Bent or damaged caliper mounting |
- Ensure the disc brake pads are held firmly in place on the caliper mounting,
yet slide easily on the mounting hardware without binding.
Installation Procedure
- Install the disc brake caliper and bolts
(2). Refer to
Rear Brake Caliper Replacement
.
- Apply and release the brake pedal (3/4 stroke) as many times as
necessary in order to obtain a firm brake pedal.
