Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 894233 Size: SH
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the latch assembly.
  3. Remove the screws from the latch assembly.
  4. Unhook the lock cylinder actuator cable from the latch assembly.
  5. Remove the latch assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the latch assembly.
  2. Hook the lock cylinder actuator cable to the latch assembly.

    3. Object Number: 894254 Size: MH
  3. Install the screws to the latch assembly.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the decklid latch-to-decklid fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the latch assembly.
  5. Close the rear compartment lid.
