Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement Sedan

1. Remove the rear shelf panel.

Refer to the Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement .

2. Remove the child restraint bracket fastener and remove the bracket.

Caution: Refer to Loctite Threadlocker on Restraint Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the child restraint bracket with fastener.

Tighten
Tighten the child restraint bracket bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

2. Install the rear shelf panel.

Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement Wagon

1. Remove the load floor panel from the vehicle.



2. Remove the child restraint bracket fastener and remove the bracket.

Caution: Refer to Loctite Threadlocker on Restraint Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the child restraint fastener and the bracket to the vehicle.

Tighten
Tighten the child restraint bracket bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).




2. Install the load floor panel.
