Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 896625 Size: SH

    Important: Sedan shown, wagon similar.

  1. Pull on the rear seat cushion retainer straps while pulling up on the rear seat cushion to disengage the rear seat cushion from the floor.
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion from the vehicle.

  3. Remove the rear seat center seat belt fastener and remove the rear seat center belt assembly.

Installation Procedure
   •

Caution: Apply Loctite 242® Threadlocker US P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489), or equivalent, on all restraint bolts/nuts before installation. Failure to use such threadlocker correctly may result in personal injury.

  • Install the rear seat center seat belt with locating the tab facing downward in the positioning slot.

    • Tighten
    Tighten the Seat Center Seat Belt Bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  • Position the rear seat cushion into the vehicle.
    •    • 
  • Route the center seat belts through the seat cushion openings.
    •    • 
  • Snap the rear seat cushion into the attaching retainers.
    •    • 
  • Pull up on the seat to ensure the seat is properly installed.
    •    • 
  • Function the rear seat shoulder belts to ensure the proper operation.
