Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 897503 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the AIR pump solenoid harness connector.
  2. Remove the vacuum hoses.
  3. Remove the bolts.
  4. Remove the AIR pump solenoid.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 897503 Size: SH
  1. Install the AIR pump solenoid.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the AIR pump solenoid bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the AIR pump solenoid bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the vacuum hoses.
  4. Connect the AIR pump solenoid harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
