Removal Procedure
- Release the rear seat back latch by pulling the handle in the trunk.
- Lower the rear seat back.
- Release the push-in retainer from the garnish molding on the lower lock pillar.
- Remove the child comfort guide from the garnish molding.
Installation Procedure
- Install the child comfort guide to the garnish molding of the lower lock pillar.
- Install the push-in retainer.
- Lift the rear seat back.
- Push on the seat back over the latch locations to ensure that the latches engage.
- Pull up on the seat back to ensure that the seat back is latched.
- Verify that the seat belt operates properly.
Important: Ensure that the seat belt webbing is not trapped behind the seat back.
