Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 876457  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Remove the nut from the rear seat belt buckle.
  3. Remove the rear seat belt buckle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 876457  Size: SH
  1. Position the rear seat belt buckle to the studs.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nut to the rear seat belt buckle.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

  5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .

Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement Sedan

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 873766  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Insert an awl in the slot located on the top of the anchoring buckle and disconnect the center seat belt webbing.

  3. Object Number: 876450  Size: SH
  4. Remove the nut from the rear seat belt buckle assembly.
  5. Remove the buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear seat belt buckle to the studs.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application.   7. Install the center seat belt webbing into the anchor buckle.
  8. Verify proper operation of the seat belt.
