Remove the rear compartment lid trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .

Lock Cylinder Rod

Tip
Use a flat-bladed tool to release the lock rod.

Rear Compartment Latch Bolt (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Rear Compartment Lid Latch

Tip
Remove the latch through the access hole.
