Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2007 🢒 ION 🢒 Body Hardware and Trim 🢒 Floor Coverings and Headlinings 🢒 Door Outside Handle Pivot Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the latch release rod. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  2. Remove the outer door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement or to Rear Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 867420 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bracket from the door structure. Use a center punch to knock out the steel center of the rivet .
  4. Use a 7 mm (¼ in) diameter drill bit to drill out the rivet.
  5. Slide the pivot bracket, with the latch release rod, down and out. Remove the pivot bracket from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 867420 Size: SH
  1. Install the pivot assembly into the door structure.
  2. Install the rivets into the bracket and door structure.
  3. Connect the latch release rod. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  4. Install the outer door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement or to Rear Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
