Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement Manual Regulator
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear window crank handle. Refer to
Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
- Remove the water deflector in order to access the window regulator. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
- Install the window regulator crank handle and move the window to gain access to the window regulator bolts.
- Remove the window regulator bolts. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Replacement.
- Push the window up to the full closed position and tape in place.
- Remove the window crank handle. Refer to
Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement.
- Remove the manual window bolts.
- Remove the manual window regulator from the door.
Installation Procedure
- Position the manual window regulator in the door.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the manual window regulator bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the window regulator crank handle and move the window regulator to gain access to the window regulator bolts.
- Remove the tape from the window and push the window down to the regulator.
- Install the window regulator bolts. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Replacement.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
- Install the window regulator crank handle.
Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement Power Regulator
Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
- Remove the water deflector in order to access the window regulator. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Attach the rear window switch to the door harness and power the window down until you can access the bolts that secure the regulator to the window.
- Disconnect the regulator from the rear window. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Replacement.
- Push the window up to the full closed position and tape the window in place.
- Remove the regulator bolts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the power window regulator from the door.
Installation Procedure
- Position the power window regulator in the door.
- Install the power window regulator bolts.
- Connect the electrical connector.

- Install the power window regulator nuts.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Power the window regulator to gain access to the glass attachment bolts.
- Remove the tape from the window and push the window down to the regulator.
- Install the power window to regulator bolts. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Replacement.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
