Bushing Remover/Installer Kit
Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
- Remove the lower control arm. Refer to
Lower Control Arm Replacement
.
- Wrap the control arm with a shop towel and place it in a vise.
Important: Note the depth and orientation of the old bushing before removal.
- Using the
KM-906-B
, pull the control arm bushing through the control arm.
- Disassemble the tools and remove the bushing.
Installation Procedure
- Place the NEW bushing to the tapered side of the control arm.
- Using the
KM-906-B
, pull the control arm bushing through
the opposite direction of the control arm.
- Install the bushing to the same depth and orientation as noted during removal.
- Remove the
KM-906-B
from the control arm.
- Install the control arm. Refer to
Lower Control Arm Replacement
