Condition

Some customers may comment on headliner material (fabric) hanging down or sagging at rear of headliner.

Cause

This condition may be caused by the headliner material (fabric) becoming loose (separated) from the headliner substrate.

Correction

Replace the headliner in vehicles with this condition.

•	If vehicle is not equipped with a sunroof, refer to "Headliner Replacement w/o Sunroof" procedure in the Interior Trim subsection of the Body section of the 2004 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol. 3 (SI Document ID #879106).

•	If vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, refer to "Headliner Replacement w/ Sunroof" procedure in the Interior Trim subsection of the Body section of the 2004 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol. 3 (SI Document ID #879108).
