Servicing Wiper Arms

It has come to the attention of Saturn Service that some technicians may not be using the J 39637 when removing wiper arms. This tool was created to remove wiper arms without applying excessive force to the wiper transmission assembly. Attempting to pry or otherwise dislodge the wiper arm from the splined pivot shaft may put undesirable strain on the wiper transmission and crack the wiper pivot shaft housing causing permanent damage.
