For vehicles with this light, it comes on briefly as a check when the ignition is turned on.

This light comes on and stays on when one or more of the vehicle's tires are significantly underinflated.

Stop and check the tires as soon as it is safe to do so. If underinflated, inflate to the proper pressure. See Tires for more information.

This light flashes for approximately one minute and then stays on when the system detects a malfunction. See Tire Pressure Monitor System for more information.
