For 1990-2009 cars only
- Clean the output gear assembly (12) in solvent and air dry.
- Inspect the gears for the following:
- Rotate the output gear bearing and feel for roughness or noise.
- If any of the above conditions are found, replace the output gear assembly (12). This assembly is serviced only as a complete assembly.
