Preliminary Procedure

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.

A/C Evaporator TXV Hose Nut

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Tip
Remove the A/C Evaporator TXV Hose from the evaporator hose assembly and discard O-rings. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .

Release hose/pipe from attaching clips

Tip
Cap all hose/pipe fittings.
