Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the windshield wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 859571 Size: SH
  2. Using a flat-bladed tool, disengage the meshing of the inner rod (1) from the crank arm pivot (2).
  3. Remove the wiper transmission (1) from the wiper motor (3).

    4. Object Number: 859567 Size: SH
  4. Using a flat-bladed tool, disengage the meshing of the outer rod (1) from the crank arm pivot (3).

    5. Object Number: 859562 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 2 torx bolts (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 859562 Size: SH
  1. Install the wiper transmission (1) to the wiper motor (3).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 torx bolts (2) which secure the wiper transmission (1) to the wiper motor (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the windshield wiper transmission bolts to 7.5 N·m (66 lb in).

  3. Engage the meshing of the lower rod (1) to the crank arm (2).

    4. Object Number: 859567 Size: SH
  4. Engage the meshing of the upper rod (1) to the crank arm (3).
  5. Install the windshield wiper motor assembly. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .
