The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, a check engine light may be experienced with DTC P0171 and/or P2195.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the SI diagnostics do not isolate a cause for this concern, replace Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 with the part number listed in the GMSPO parts catalog, which contains improvements to address this concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
