Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 850964 Size: SH
  1. Remove antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement in Entertainment.
  2. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the 4 retainers (4) which secure the antenna cable (3) to the roof (5).

  4. Disconnect the rear antenna extension cable. Refer to Radio Antenna Cable Extension Cable Replacement in Entertainment.
  5. Remove the nut (4) which secures the antenna cable base (1) to the roof of the vehicle.

    6. Object Number: 850969 Size: SH
  6. Release the 2 tabs (2) from the antenna cable base (1).
  7. Remove the antenna base cable assembly (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 850969 Size: SH
  1. Insert the antenna cable (3) through the opening in the roof, make sure the 2 tabs (2) lock in.
  2. Connect the antenna base cable assembly, to the rear antenna extension cable. Refer to Radio Antenna Cable Extension Cable Replacement in Entertainment.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 850972 Size: SH
  3. Secure the antenna cable base (1) to the roof with the nut (4).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna base cable nut (4) to 4.5 N·m (40 lb in).

  4. Route the antenna base cable assembly (1) along the roof (5).
  5. Secure the antenna cable (1) to the roof (5) with the 4 retainers (4).
  6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement in Entertainment.
