Test C3 cavity 4 of the instrument panel fuse block for battery positive voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is voltage present?

Test C4 cavity 7 of the instrument panel fuse block for battery positive voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is voltage present?

Replace the instrument panel wiring harness. Refer to Instrument Panel Wiring Harness Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

Repair open or high resistance in the dome lamp supply voltage circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test cavity 2 of the front dome lamp for battery positive voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Repair open or high resistance in the Dome Lamp supply voltage circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

With 1 of the doors open, test C2 cavity 7 of the left instrument panel junction block for continuity to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is a ground present?

Replace the instrument panel wiring harness. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

With 1 of the doors open, test cavity 1 of the instrument panel lamp dimmer for continuity to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is a ground present?

Go to Step 13

Repair the open in the ground circuit between cavity 1 of the instrument panel dimmer and C2 cavity 7 of the left instrument panel junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test cavity 8 of the instrument panel lamp dimmer for continuity to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open or high resistance between C7 cavity 3 of the instrument panel fuse block and cavity 8 of the instrument panel lamp dimmer. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
