Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2006 🢒 Vibe - FWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 1.8L (LNK) 🢒 Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the timing chain. Refer to Timing Chain and Sprocket Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 236047 Size: SH
  2. Remove the five oil pump bolts.
  3. Remove the oil pump.
  4. Remove the oil pump gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 236064 Size: SH

    Important: Engage the ridges of the oil pump drive rotor with the flat sections of the crankshaft.

  1. Install the oil pump. Use a new oil pump gasket.
  2. Use the five oil pump bolts in order to secure the oil pump.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pump bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

  3. Install the timing chain. Refer to Timing Chain and Sprocket Replacement .
