Rattle From Multi-Purpose Trunk Organizer (Install Mat)

Some customers may comment on a rattle noise from the multi-purpose trunk organizer while driving on non-smooth roads.

The source of this noise may be from the multi-purpose trunk organizer and occurs only when the unit is in the folded (flat) position with the pivoting end panels and removable dividers enclosed, causing plastic to contact plastic.

Important: There are two types of multi-purpose trunk organizers available. If the vehicle is equipped with multi-purpose trunk organizer, P/N 12498559, it will already have the multi-purpose trunk organizer mat installed and this correction will not be necessary.

A special sound-dampening multi-purpose trunk organizer mat, P/N 12497941, has been released to eliminate this condition. Open the organizer and install the mat inside the bottom of the organizer. Close the organizer.
