Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 242352 Size: SH
  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the bolt (3) that retains the front door check link (2) to the door jamb.

    3. Object Number: 627018 Size: SH
  3. Remove the following components from the door (3):
    4. • The front door weatherstrip (2)
    • The plastic retainers (1)

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 627018 Size: SH
  1. Install the front door weatherstrip (2) to the door (3). Ensure that the plastic retainers (1) are completely engaged.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolt (3) that retains the front door check link (2) to the door jamb.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 5.5 N·m (49 lb in).

  3. Close the door.
