Theater Dimming Inoperative - keywords dim inop mail module

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer might comment that their theater dimming is inoperative. The first thing to check is for options "PCM" and "PCQ" on the option sheet. If these options are NOT on the option list the vehicle will NOT have a Mall module.

The vehicle is required to have both of the above options to have theater dimming as it is a function of the Mall module.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
