THE 1993-94 POWER SLIDING SIDE DOOR SERVICE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGH A SPECIAL RETURN PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM WILL EXPEDITE EARLY CUSTOMER/DEALERSHIP FEEDBACK AND MINIMIZE THE SERVICE AND DIAGNOSTIC CONCERNS ASSOCIATED WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF NEW PRODUCT TECHNOLOGIES. THIS PROGRAM WILL BE IN EFFECT OCTOBER 1, 1993 AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL AUGUST 1, 1994.

THE PART REPLACEMENT/RETURN PROCEDURE:
1. THE DEALER TECHNICIAN
A. THE TECHNICIAN MUST CONTACT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO VERIFY THE DIAGNOSIS AND ESTABLISH A TAS CASE USING THE APPROPRIATE PHONE NUMBER AS FOLLOWS:

2. REPLACEMENT PART(S) ORDERS
A. UPON VERIFICATION OF PROPER DIAGNOSIS WITH TAS CONSULTANT, INLAND FISHER GUIDE WILL PLACE THE NECESSARY PART(S) ORDERS DIRECTLY TO GMSPO.
B. THE ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO THE DEALER WITHIN 24 HOURS VIA GMSPO OVERNIGHT STATUS. THE CORE CHARGE WILL BE REFUNDED ONCE THE PART IS RECEIVED BY INLAND FISHER GUIDE.
3. PARTS RETURNS - MODULE/CONTROLLER
REPLACEMENT PARTS WILL BE PACKAGED IN HEAVY GAGE RETURNABLE BOXES.
A. TO INSURE PROPER AND TIMELY CORE CHARGE CREDITING, COMPLETE THE LOWER HALF OF THE INSTRUCTION SHEET PROVIDED AND INCLUDE IT WITH THE FAILED PART. THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION MUST BE INCLUDED WITH ALL RETURNED PARTS:

B. RETURN THE FAILED PART(S) WITHIN THREE DAYS VIA FEDERAL EXPRESS, ACCOUNT NUMBER 1583-4626-5, REFERENCING INLAND FISHER GUIDE'S ACCOUNT NUMBER 63277M.

C. WHEN INLAND FISHER GUIDE RECEIVES THE RETURNED PART(S) WITH THE PROPER DOCUMENTATION, THEY WILL NOTIFY GMSPO TO ISSUE THE APPROPRIATE CORE CREDIT.
PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM GMSPO ON OCTOBER 25, 1993.
