SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT ABOUT A FRONT DOOR GLASS SCRAPING NOISE OR GLASS CHATTER WHEN ROLLING THE GLASS UP OR DOWN MANUALLY OR ELECTRICALLY.
FRONT DOOR CHANNEL (FRONT GUIDE RETAINER) IS LOCATED TOO FAR REARWARD.
RELOCATE FRONT LOWER GUIDE ATTACHMENT FOLLOWING PROCEDURE BELOW:
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER TRIM AND FRONT LOWER PORTION OF THE WATER DEFLECTOR.
2. LOCATE LOWER GUIDE RIVET AND REMOVE (SEE FIGURE 1).
3. MEASURE AND MARK INNER PANEL (SEE FIGURE 1). DRILL A 1/4" HOLE FOR NEW ATTACHING LOCATION.
4. REINSTALL LOWER RIVET, P/N 9437486.
5. MAKE SURE GLASS IS IN THE "UP" POSITION.
6. LOOSEN UPPER GUIDE BOLT, PULL FORWARD ON GUIDE AND RE-TORQUE BOLT TO 6 N.M (4 LB. FT.).
7. OPERATE DOOR GLASS FOR PROPER FUNCTION.
8. REINSTALL LOWER WATER DEFLECTOR AND TAPE AS NECESSARY TO CREATE A WATER TIGHT SEAL.
9. REINSTALL LOWER DOOR TRIM.
